NOTICE OF TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT ROAD CLOSURE B4006 DORCAN WAY AND EDISON ROAD
The Order is being introduced for resurfacing works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the B4006 Dorcan Way between the roundabouts junctions with The Drive and Hindle Way and Edison Road between Dorcan Way and Faraday Road including the section of the roundabout with Wheatstone Road.
The Order comes into the force on the 20 October 2022 for 12 months but it is expected the works will be carried out overnight between 20:00 and 06:00 hours in October/November 2022 with works taking up to 6 weeks. Advance notice at location will be given of work start dates/times.
Alternative Route:
Edison Road Closure - Traffic to be diverted via Liden Drive and Dorcan Way and vice versa.
Sections of the roundabout with Wheatstone Road Closure – traffic to be diverted via Wheatstone Road, A419, A4259 Marlborough Road to Coate Roundabout, B4006 Dorcan Way and vice versa
Dorcan Way Closure – Traffic to be diverted via Covingham Drive, Merlin Way, White Hart Roundabout, A419, A4259 Marlborough Road to Coate Roundabout and vice versa
Access to industrial estate to be maintained.
