Road Closure from Monday 6th June until Friday 9th September
As part of the new Redlands housing development for the New Eastern Villages, new highway drainage, street lights and a footpath needs to be installed along Wanborough Road.
For these improvements to go ahead, Conlon Ltd will be closing the road between Poplars Nursery to Burycroft Junction from Monday, 6 June until Friday, 9 September 2022.
Access to business and homes will be maintained, and emergency services have been notified of the closure.
Due to safety reasons, cyclists and walkers will not be able to travel through the area where the contractor is digging up the road.
We will also be working on the Southern Connector Access Road scheme under this closure.
